Hadiza El-Rufai: I'm Married To A Governor; I'm Not Part Of Government.

Hadiza El-Rufai, wife of Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has replied Nigerians who attacked her on Twitter today. Mrs. El-Rufai was bashed by Nigerian Twitter users for not commenting on the lingering crisis in Southern Kaduna but coming on Twitter to celebrate having 80, 000 followers. Well, Mrs El-Rufai has responded to their criticism. According to her, she is married to a governor but is not part of the government ''Did any of you see “First Lady” in my bio? My TL is for language, humour and other light-hearted issues. I don’t tweet about serious matters like governance and politics. Though I’m married to a governor I’m not a part of government. I swore no oath.''she tweeted.

Kogi State Disagrees With NCDC, Says Kogi Is COVID-19 Free.

The government of Kogi has maintained that the state is free of COVID-19, accusing the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) of having an agenda to spread the disease across the country. On Wednesday, NCDC had announced that Kogi recorded two cases of the virus. But Haruna Audu, Kogi health commissioner, had said the state government would not accept any “fictitious” claim from the NCDC. Speaking on Channel Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Kingsley Fanwo, commissioner for information, described the cases reported in the state as a “beautiful fraud”. Fanwo alleged that one of the patients, an imam was stung by bees before he was transferred to Abuja from the Federal Medical Center, Lokoja, where he was tested and declared positive for coronavirus. “As far as we are concerned, the declaration of those cases is fraudulent and fails the major credibility test, it is a backdoor declaration that is laden with a lot of fraud,” he said. “A patient was admitted to the

Premier League clubs have agreed to restart the season in just three weeks’ time in what is a huge breakthrough for their Project Restart plans. The Premier League have desperately been trying to finalise plans to get the season back underway again following its suspension at the beginning of March amid the coronavirus crisis. June 20 has been lined up as the first round of fixtures following the Premier League’s resumption although Manchester City vs Arsenal and Aston Villa vs Sheffield United are set to go ahead on Wednesday June 17. These two matches are the ‘games in hand’ for these four clubs, which will take all 20 Premier League teams up to 29 fixtures for the season.
