Anger In Yobe Community After Police Set Free 42-year-old Man Who Raped Seven-year-old Displaced Girl

There is anger in Nguru area of Yobe State after the Nigeria Police Force set free a man, who serially raped a seven-year old internally displaced girl. The girl, Topgistpedia gathered, lives with her mother in a camp at Garbi, a suburb of Nguru town, after they fled insurgent attacks. An activist based in Nguru, who is working to get justice for the family of the victim (name withheld), said people in the town are outraged after they saw the perpetrator of the crime, Danladi Naira, walking freely in town. Describing how the alleged rapist was nabbed, he said, “The rapist always picks the girl on her way to Islamiyya and rape her. “One day she was crying and her mother decided to give her a bath. It was during the bath that the mother of the victim discovered semen and blood on her private part. "The victim told her mum how she was raped several times and the person responsible was traced." Orji Uzor Kalu Out Of Kuje Prison.

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has just been released from the Nigerian Correctional Service’ custody in Kuje, Abuja. This followed yesterday's order of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos ordering the immediate release of the former Governor of Abia. Justice Mohammed Liman, who ordered Kalu’s release, also quashed the 12-year jail term imposed on him last December 5 by Justice Mohammed Idris.

A video which shows the last moment of late Uwaila Omozuwa has emerged online. We reported earlier that the 22-year-old 100-level student of the University of Benin, Edo State was raped and assaulted while reading in a church in Benin city on May 27, 2020 In the video, Uwaila Omozuwa can be seen fighting for her life while receiving treatment at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH). 21-year-old man stabs friend to death over girlfriend

The Bauchi state police command has arrested a 21-year-old man,identified as Ishaku for stabbing his friend, Zeloti John to death over a girl. The incident took place in a drinking joint in Dass on Friday May 29. The suspect stabbed Zeloti with a knife in three different parts of his body following an argument over who was the “real boyfriend of the girl”. Bauchi State Police Command’s spokesperson DSP Ahmed Wakili confirmed the incident and also revealed that Zeloti John was rushed to the Dass General Hospital where he was confirmed dead. He was buried on Monday June 1. Wakili said the suspect has been arrested as investigation is ongoing to uncover the remote and immediate cause of the murder.

Suspected ritualists slaughter 78-yr-old widow in Ekiti, harvest vital organs

Residents of Ikere-Ekiti, headquarters of Ikere Council Area of Ekiti State are now living in trepidation following the gruesome killing of a 78-year-old widow by suspected ritualists. Topgistpedia learnt that the victim, Mrs Sabianah Aranilewa was slaughtered before her blood and vital organs were reportedly drained and harvested respectively for ritual purposes by the suspect. NYSC member slumps, dies in Rivers State.

A female National Youth Service Corps Member’s life has been tragically cut short after she slumped and died in Rivers State. The entire 2019 Batch C,Stream 2,Corp members in Rivers State, have been thrown into deep mourning after one of their own, Atiye Florence Aduke, lost her life on Saturday May 30th, 2020. According to reports, Miss Aduke slumped and hit her head against a wall in her house on Wednesday, 27th May, 2020. She was quickly rushed to the hospital but efforts to save her live proved abortive. Sharing the painful news on Facebook, a relative, Atiye Olawale, wrote; “Painfull exit, Atiye Florence Aduke u told me that I should come and visit you once u come back from Port Harcourt to Lagos of which i make move, before getting there, u call me on my way that “Bros Wale” don’t bother yourself ‘I will be fine’ but greet our mother for me till I come back from my journey. Boy Shot Dead By Cultist While Roasting Yam For His Mother (Graphics Photos)

Tragedy has struck a poor mother after her son was shot dead by some cult members in Abia State. Report gathered that the boy was roasting yam and plantain before he was shot by in the head by the cultist. It is not clear if the boy was a rival cultist or a victim of circumstances. The name of the victim and his mother is yet to be ascertained as at the time of this report.
