Late Ibidun Ajayi-Ighodalo’s body laid to rest in Lagos (photos)

The former beauty queen and event planner, Ibidun Ajayi-Ighodalo, was buried on Saturday, June 20, 2020. The funeral took place at the Vaults and Gardens cemetery in Lagos state. She passed on at the young age of 39. It was said that Ibidun Ajayi-Ighodalo lost her life due to a cardiac arrest while she was in Port Harcourt. The service was attended by her family members, inlaws, friends, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state, deposed Emir of Kano Sanusi Muhammad II, and many others. Photos:

A lady, Mide has narrated how her long-time friend broke up with a man who pampers her simply because he lost his job. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has again lashed out at Church leaders following the ban on religious gathering which is yet to be lifted due to the increased number of Coronavirus cases in the country. In a televised service the founder of Loveworld Ministries a.k.a Christ Embassy presided over, he stated that one can't believe in Jesus and be afraid of touching Coronavirus patients and other virus. He reiterated his claim of churches still being shut because some church leaders have insisted that for places of worship to reopen, health guildlines he (Pastor Chris) described as "wicked" must be observed. Some of the guidelines include wearing of gloves to lay hands on the sick and suspension of communion. Police allegedly assault mother who went to report 30-year-old man who raped her 5-year-old daughter (Video)

A helpless mother was seen wailing on the streets of Abia state after she was allegedly assaulted by the Police when she went to report a 30-year-old man who allegedly raped her 5-year-old daughter. In a video that’s begun serving rounds and has angered a lot of people, the woman is seen wailing with tears dripping down her face and neck while holding her 5-year-old daughter. She narrated in Igbo language how she was allegedly beaten by Police officers who dismissed the case of rape she had gone to report. According to the mother, the 30-year-old man who raped her daughter, bribed the Police and the case was dismissed while she was assaulted and the man was left to go scout free. Hiker Dies After Falling Off A Mountain In Abuja (Video)

A yet-to-be identified young man has died after allegedly falling off a mountain today June 20 in Kubwa, Abuja. According to series of reports, it was said that the young man was hiking alongside others when he allegedly tripped off and fell to his death. In the short video, a group of men could be seen carrying him to a car. Upon confirming he was in badly injured and needed medical attention, he was then quickly rushed to Kubwa General Hospital in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) where he was declared dead. Enugu state House of Assembly member, Chijioke Ugwueze dies aged 49

Honorable Chijioke Ugwueze, the lawmaker representing Isi-Uzo Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, has died. Ugwueze, 49, died on Friday, June 19 after suffering a heart failure. According to family sources, the late Ugwueze who was hypertensive, woke up on Friday morning complaining he had malaria symptoms.  He was rushed to a private hospital in Enugu and was later transferred to Enugu state Teaching Hospital Parklane, where he died in the evening. Until his death, late Ugwueze was the chairman of the House Committee on Transport. His death comes three days after the death of the Chairman of Nsukka Local Government Area, Chief Patrick Omeje. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
