The bride who couldn’t hold back her excitement and joy as she danced to the beat playing in the background, decided to express herself by throwing off her wig. Her action made her friends present at the wedding almost choke with laughter as they never expected such a thing from her. Randy lecturers face 14 years jail term as Senate pass Sexual Harassment Bill

The Senate has passed the Sexual Harassment Bill which is to stop sexual abuse of female undergraduates in tertiary institutions in the country. The bill titled: 'A Bill for an Act to prevent, prohibit and redress Sexual Harassment of students in tertiary educational institutions and for matters concerned therewith, 2019', was sponsored by the Deputy Senate President. Ovie Omo-Agege, and 106 other senators. The bill among many things is geared towards promoting and protecting ethical standards in tertiary institutions. It will also protect students against sexual harassment as well as prevent sexual harassment of students by educators in tertiary institutions. The bill which has 27 clauses, proposed up to 14 years jail term, with a minimum of 5 years, without an option of fine for any educator who commits sexual offenses in tertiary institutions. Moment a fallen fuel tanker exploded while people were scooping fuel in Colombia (Video)

The terrifying moment an overturned petrol tanker exploded while people were scooping fuel in Colombia, was captured on video. The incident occurred on Monday, July 6, on the road connecting the towns of Barranquilla and Cienaga, in northern Colombia. At least seven people were killed and more than 50 were injured when the tanker exploded in northern Colombia as people were scooping fuel. Reacting to the incident: Mayor of Pueblo Viejo, Fabian Obispo said: "Unfortunately a vehicle full of fuel exploded and killed about seven people. "More than 50 people are injured. It is a tragic situation that the town of Pueblo Viejo is undergoing," he said, adding the fatal victims have yet to be identified. The injured were taken to several hospitals in the area. Update: Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo arrested over her nude photo with her seven-year-old son

Ghanaian actress and video vixen, Akuapem Poloo has been arrested over her controversial nude photo with her seven-year-old son. The arrest comes days after Child Rights International petitioned the Inspector-General of Police in Ghana to investigate her over the controversial birthday photo with her son which went viral on social media. In the photo, which she posted on Tuesday, June 30, the actress went completely nude in a photoshoot with her son to celebrate him on his 7th birthday. She said she decided to go naked in front of her son who was only in his underwear because she gave birth to him naked. According to Ghanian media, Akuapem Poloo has been picked up by operatives of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and is being sent to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit around the Ministries in Accra.

Ifedayo Abegunde, the former Secretary to the Ondo State Government who resigned on Monday July 6, has narrated how they allegedly rigged 2016 governorship election for Governor Rotimi Akeredolu. Abegunde who insisted that Akeredolu did not win the 2016 governorship election while speaking on a programme on Crest 87.7 Fm, said he (Akeredolu) lost the 2016 governorship poll to the then Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Eyitayo Jegede. He revealed that some "moneybags" in the All Progressives Congress (APC) including himself, rigged Akeredolu into power in 2016 by manipulating the election result in his favour. Abegunde said;  "It was through the powers from me and other APC pillars that made INEC declare Akeredolu as governor after he had lost the election. Baby factory operators allegedly attack policemen in Imo

Some policemen suffered an attack upon storming a "hospital" in a Umuocha community in Oguta council of Imo state, while trailing a man who allegedly stole a baby from its mother at gunpoint. Upon entering the health facility the man they were trailing ran into, the policemen saw many children and expectant mothers allegedly used for child trafficking. However while asking questions about the property, the owner of the hospital identified as Innocent Onuoha allegedly mobilised youths of the village who surrounded the building, demobilised the police vehicle and attacked the four policemen with different objects, inflicting various degrees of injuries on them. A member representing Oguta State constituency in the state house of assembly, Frank Ugboma intervened and helped the policemen escape from further attacks. According to him, a family that is poor yet has rich taste is the surest sign of troublesome in-laws. Reno Omokri advised men, especially those who are single, never to go into debt just because they want to give a girl’s family the kind of wedding they want. He then told single men that a girl whose family wan an expensive wedding for their daughter isn’t the right girl for them. In his words on Twitter, “Dear single men, never go into debt to give a girl’s family the wedding they want. If that’s the price for marrying their daughter, then she’s not the right girl for you. A poor family with a rich taste, is the surest sign of troublesome in-laws.”
